MedCore Senior Living was founded on the principle of excellence and expertise. Our commitment to our financial partners is one of substance, both in the way we conduct due diligence on the scope of every project, and in the way we treat our investors as our customers throughout the process. Anticipating our customers’ needs so that we can proactively plan and orchestrate a financially sound development deal drives what we do.
Senior Living Commitment
MedCore Senior Living got its start by developing an 80-unit assisted living and memory care facility in Cypress, TX. This community opened its doors in June 2018, and is currently tracking 2 months ahead of projected lease up. Phase 2 of this project, consisting of 138 independent living apartments, townhomes, and cottages, is currently in the final phases of design and will break ground in late 2019.
In-House Operations Expertise
When the commitment was made to begin developing seniors housing, MedCore understood how critical the short and long-term operations management of each asset would be. That’s why two strategic components of MedCore’s vision were put in place before we opened even one senior community:
Leadership
MedCore added a seasoned operatioins veteran from the Seniors Housing industry to the team for participation and advisement in all aspects of the process – Market Selection, Development, & Asset Management.
Vetting & Collaboration
MedCore collaborates daily with its management partners and includes them in key strategy and input as early as two years out from project opening. Most third-party managers don’t get involved until the pre-lease process begins – usually around 6-10 months prior to opening.
