As the broker representing Methodist Health System, MedCore Partners was pleased to attend the groundbreaking ceremony on this historic day in Midlothian, TX.
More than 300 Methodist Health System officials and Midlothian community leaders officially broke ground Friday on Methodist’s Midlothian Medical Center Campus. A $175-million hospital facility will be the center piece of the campus and include a 44-bed acute care hospital with the capacity to expand to 80 beds and a 45,000 square foot medical office building west of U.S. Highway 287 near the Midlothian ISD multi-purpose stadium. Methodist Midlothian is scheduled to open in 2020.
Approximately 675,000 person hours will be required to develop the site and construct the five-story hospital and three-story medical office building. The medical center will employ approximately 300 healthcare professionals and support staff members at the end of the first full-year of operation.
Methodist has engaged Corgan as the project architect and DPR Construction as the general contractor.
