Ruth Thembani joined the MedCore team in November of 2023 as a Sr. Accountant. During her career, Ruth has worked in a wide range of roles in accounting, investor reporting, general partner (GP) reporting and various financial services roles. Ruth has worked in several industries including Private Equity, Commercial Real Estate, and the Mortgage industry.
Most recently, Ruth held a position as a Senior Accountant at a small family office. Previously, she was employed by Colmore as a Fund Accountant, and at TPG Global LLC where she began as a Corporate Accountant and progressed to the role of a General Partner (GP) Reporting Associate.
Ruth graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, and is currently in the process of completing her Master’s Degree in Accountancy at Texas Women’s University. She is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Candidate, with part one of the CMA completed and part two left to complete before getting certified. She enjoys traveling, playing top golf, and engaging in arts and crafts in her free time.
