Michael Collins joined MedCore Partners in May of 2014 and is primarily responsible for new business development, de-novo projects, brokerage, and client relationship management.
As a medical real estate specialist, Michael has worked with large healthcare systems, REIT’s, healthcare operating companies, and hundreds of physicians for all their real estate needs. He has expertise in acquisitions, dispositions, development, tenant and landlord representation, construction management, hospital operations, and feasibility studies.
Prior to joining MedCore, Michael worked for Texas Health Resources (“THR”), one of the largest faith-based nonprofit health care delivery systems in the United States and the largest in North Texas in terms of patients served. He represented THR’s interest in 250+ locations all over north Texas, with lease space totaling over 3,000,000 square feet and transaction value in excess of $300 million. He also worked with hospital executives with strategic planning and initiatives for development projects.
Before his contributions to Texas Health Resources, Michael held several roles during his tenure at The Cirrus Group. He handled all phases of the delivery of healthcare real estate assets from business development and relationship management to directing design, leasing, finance and construction teams through the completion of Cirrus projects.
Michael holds a BBA in real estate finance from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Texas and is a member of several real estate organizations including an alumnus of the Associate Leadership Council (2015) through TREC.
