Metrocrest Hospital Authority (“MHA”) and Sana Healthcare (“Sana”) have executed a definitive lease agreement for Sana to operate MHA’s five story, 338,000 SF, 216-bed acute care hospital located at 4343 North Josey Lane in Carrollton, Texas. MedCore Partners and Schier Capital Group represented MHA in a national campaign to market the hospital to prospective operators and were successful in negotiating the lease transaction with Sana.
Baylor Scott and White Health has operated the hospital, which is known as Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Carrollton for the last 10 years. The transition of the hospital’s operations to Sana is expected by March of 2020.
