Jack Burt joined MedCore in June of 2019 and brings extensive experience in the senior living industry with a successful career focusing on operations strategy, execution and business development. As an expert in operational effectiveness, Jack plays a key role in MedCore’s pre and post-development operational strategies, acquisitions assimilation, asset management, and investor relations.
Prior to joining MedCore, Jack served as a Managing Partner of Senior Living Net Operating Impact (SLNOI), an operations consulting company focused on increasing investor value by driving bottom-line results. At SLNOI, Jack was responsible for developing operational turnaround and/or value-add strategies for distressed senior housing portfolios in need of repositioning, renovation and/or professional management. While with Senior Living NOI, he also led the design and development of a proprietary online assessment tool and software system that filled a major gap in the industry’s ability to identify best-in-class talent and apply rigor to the staff selection process.
Jack’s successful career has been progressive and dedicated to the senior living industry as he has had the privilege of working for some of the largest operators in the industry. In the past, Jack served as the Director of Operational Leadership & Culture for Senior Lifestyle Corporation (SLC) in Chicago. Before his contributions to SLC, Jack was an Operations Turnaround Specialist for Horizon Bay Retirement Living and Brookdale Senior Living, the nation’s largest operator of senior living communities throughout the United States.
Jack is a graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. in Hospitality & Tourism Management. He now resides in Dallas, Texas and enjoys boating, outdoor activities, sports, travel, and spending quality time together with friends and family.
