As Director of development, Wes Johnston’s primary role with MedCore Partners is to ensure that the client’s vision is fully realized by vigilantly managing the ever-evolving needs of each development in his charge. He is passionate about his role in helping medical specialists serve their communities, and strives to ensure that their expectations are continually exceeded during and beyond the lifespan of every project.
Prior to joining the MedCore team in 2015, Wes served as Project Manager with BNC Construction, a mid-sized Texas building firm. While with BNC he oversaw a wide array of healthcare build-outs including medical office buildings, dental practices, outpatient procedural facilities, as well as numerous industrial and retail ventures. Wes was afforded the unique opportunity to cultivate experience both in the field and behind a desk, granting him the skill and insight to continually assess and improve upon existing project policies and procedures.
During his tenure with BNC, Wes also became immersed in the leasing and tenant representation element of commercial real estate transactions, where he worked closely with developers, brokers and property managers to provide a seamless transition between the purchasing/leasing and build-out phases for each client.
Wes graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Austin College in Sherman, Texas and remains active in several alumni organizations. He holds a Texas Real Estate License.
