David Ransom brings over 28 years of design and construction experience to the MedCore Partners team. He is a licensed architect with expertise in healthcare facilities design, planning, programming, and construction, with specialization in large scale, multi-year, multi-million-dollar projects. David has been involved in the development, design, and construction of over 9.5 million square feet of real estate, including over 6 million square feet of healthcare facilities valued in excess of $3.5 billion dollars. His experience has served a broad range of clients both domestically and internationally for such notable health systems as Universal Health Services, Tenet, HCA, Methodist Health System, Texas Health Resources, Baylor Scott & White, Indiana University and University of Texas Health System.
Prior to joining MedCore Partners, Mr. Ransom held leadership roles in several healthcare management and development firms, where he was responsible for all aspects of facility development and provided expertise in both overall project management and day-to-day company operations. In addition to his acute care facility development experience, Mr. Ransom also has notable experience in the design and construction of ambulatory, diagnostic, cancer care, and medical office buildings, as well as skilled nursing and senior care facilities.
Mr. Ransom graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree with a specialization in Urban Design. Mr. Ransom is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, AIA Academy of Architecture for Health and the American Society of Healthcare Engineers.
