Court Powell

Court Powell brings over 12 years of experience in commercial real estate and commercial finance throughout the State of Texas. He has completed over $200 million in commercial debt and equity transactions including retail development, multifamily, and medical office building investments.

Court began his real estate career working in finance at 7-11, where he was a Corporate Finance Consultant of 135 stores with revenues in excess of $150 million. He improved profitability of 15 locations, beginning three months of 2015 with an increase of sales of 12% during the board tours expansion. This contributed to the implementation of over 600 Texas locations developing the new expansion strategy. Court then was recruited to be the Portfolio Manager at Mohr Partners, where he co-managed the company’s largest global client service account of a $1.5 billion-dollar public company for the founder across 16 states.

Court also represented Roadway Food-Marts, where he led a 1031 Tax Exchange of $30 million asset acquisitions as well as the disposition of $25 million of fast food, convenience stores, and leasing over a two-year period. He also closed 250,000 square feet of medical office space with a total cost savings of more than $1.2 million for his clients over a two-year period.

Court graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Baylor University.
